ThousandEyes will reveal its second annual Cloud Performance Benchmark report in person and via livestream from Pershing in Austin, TX on November 12, 2019 from 11:00 to 12:00 CST.
The internet and cloud intelligence company will announce their findings from the only research comparing global network performance and connectivity differences between the five major public cloud providers – Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and IBM Cloud.
Designed to aid enterprise IT business leaders in their cloud decision-making process, the report is an unbiased resource measuring network performance to global cloud regions and within cloud regions. Understanding cloud performance is critical for planning and ongoing measurement to provide employees and customers with the best possible performance when it comes to their cloud strategy.
The report gives businesses metric-based, comprehensive, and comparative data. Results are derived from an analysis of over 320 million data points collected from 98 global metro locations over the course of 30 days, using both end-to-end performance and in-depth path measurement techniques.
In 2018, ThousandEyes benchmarked the three biggest cloud providers (by market share): AWS, Azure, and GCP. You can download previous ThousandEyes Internet and Cloud Intelligence Research reports here.
