What is an Internet Exchange Service?

An Internet Exchange service is a connection at a physical location where Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) connect to each other. Such services are a typically available on the "edge" of other networks to allow providers to share transit. Pricing is typically based on the port size that you have at that location. This type of service is designed to increase the reach of service providers to customers and end-users on third-party networks. Typically suited for Service Providers
