Equinix International Business Exchange™ (IBX) SY2 is one of the many state-of-the-art data centers in the Equinix Sydney Campus, the most interconnected data center campus in Australia. As part of our Sydney Campus, SY2 offers rich interconnection opportunities to Equinix’s secure digital ecosystems in Australia and around the world. It is also home to a vibrant cloud and IT ecosystem and hosts the key participants in Sydney’s electronic trading, capital markets and electronic payments industries. SY2 is housed in a 1-story, pre-cast, reinforced concrete building with green features such as granular temperature monitoring and optimized lighting controls for energy efficiency. It is located in Mascot, about 6 km south of Sydney’s Central Business District, adjacent to SY1 and within walking distance to our other Sydney data centers, SY3 and SY4.
