Equinix has begun construction on FR6, our latest International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) in Frankfurt. This data center will be the newest state-of-the-art IBX on Frankfurt’s Campus Kleyer near FR4 and FR5, with ultra-low latency connectivity to FR1, FR2, FR3, and FR7. FR6 will add more than 2,000 cabinets on an area of 51,000+ square feet (4,000 square meters) of data center space. FR6's first phase is expected to be operational by mid-2017.

Frankfurt FR6 IBX data centre at Kleyerstrasse provides direct and settlement-free IP interconnection infrastructure in Germany for important banking, commerce and telecommunications infrastructure.
