The mast in the Waarderpolder has been in use since 1972. For years the 112 meter high tower stood on a relatively empty business park, as you can see on the beautiful old photo of the 1989 mast . It is special to remember that the tower was built in just 25 days.

Peregrine falcons also live on this mast, such as the tower of the Mortel.
