In the Zendmast Zwollerkerspel, the analogue antennas have made way for the very first Cellnex data center. On December 1, 2009, this data center was taken into use by an accountancy and advisory firm with multiple locations in the Netherlands. The tower was never used for television signals, only radio frequencies were transmitted from Zwolle.

The tower is located in Zwollerkerspel, a former municipality in Zwolle, and was built around 1959.
