TierPoint’s New York-Hawthorne data centers (also referred to as Metro NYC) are located just 20 minutes from midtown Manhattan, but safely outside of major threat zones near the shared border between Connecticut and New York. Spread across two adjacent buildings of 160,000 square feet, both data centers contain state-of-the-art infrastructure and high-tech business continuity spaces. Both sites share a 91-acre campus with the Westchester County Medical Center and the New York Medical College and are fiber connected to both Manhattan and TierPoint’s other POPs along the east coast. These facilities are strategically located to provide peace of mind even in the face of disaster. In addition, the facilities are audited under SSAE 18 SOC 2 Type II, PCI-DSS*, GLBA, and HIPAA standards annually and are ITAR and EU-US Privacy Shield registered.
