Aurora Fiber Optic Networks' ownership includes nearly all of the rural regional Telcos in MN.
This collective network provides connectivity to many cities and towns in out-state Minnesota, as well as transport network connections for backhaul to major metropolitan centers in MN, and ultimately the Midwest.
The owners and operators of Aurora have decades of experience, are well funded, and a commitment to growing the network.
National carriers, Enterprise, SMB, Education, Health care, Wireless carriers, and more trust Aurora Fiber Optic Networks to provide wholesale and backhaul transport services to all parts of the state.
Leveraging ROADM/DWDM Wavelength, SONET and IP-MPLS networks, Aurora transports a wide variety of protocols including T1, DS3, OCx, DWDM waves, Ethernet, MPLS and Layer 2/3 services.
The ROADM network is capable of transporting up to 400Gb/s per wave. Operating on the ROADM network are fully redundant OC48 SONET and state of the art IP-MPLS systems offering sub-50ms failover recovery. ROADM flexibility allows for quicker turn-up, faster trouble resolution, multipleservices over one fiber pair, and any-to-any wavelength transport capabilities.
