With over 450 members and local presence in more than 70 datacenters throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Germany, Luxembourg, France and Swiss NL-ix is the 5th largest Internet Exchange in the world. Our PoP's are available at the hotspots of the internet like Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt and Paris but also at other European cities like Rotterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, Dusseldorf and many other cities. 

NL-ix offers a unique service called Wide Area Distributed Global Peering allowing it's member to connect local and peer local or across Europe without the need for backhaul connectivity for optimal peering quality. Next to peering NL-ix offers both partial (with close to 220K prefixes) and global (full BGP table) transit solutions at all of its' PoP's. Based on our extended infrastructure directly connecting to over 70 datacenters we offer Metro Ethernet, MPLS, wavelength and dark fiber connections to Carriers, ISP's, hosting providers, media companies and the business market between all our PoP's. 

To complete our portfolio NL-ix offers both BGP configuration and maintenance services. We als run quarterly training courses on BGP4 and IPv6.
