This 153-meter high concrete television tower stands on the border of Loon op Zand and Tilburg. Built in the 1950s after the then Minister Cals ordered television to be made available to everyone in the Netherlands. With the further development of digital television, the tower was increased from 125 to 153 meters in 2009.
Like all towers of Cellnex, this data center is not accessible to the public. Nevertheless, the tower was opened to the Heppie foundation in 2015 and people could enjoy a beautiful view of the Loon and Drunen dunes. This videodrone from Airpro Waalwijk shows beautiful images of the tower.
